Finding a comfortable office setup that also ensures the long-term health of your body can be a confusing and seemingly complicated endeavor. The ergonomic office check includes the following:

  • Comprehensive Workplace Assessment: The consultation begins with a thorough assessment of your workspace, including your desk setup, chair ergonomics, monitor placement, and overall workstation arrangement and the workspace challenges you face.

  • Personalized Recommendations: Based on the assessment findings and your individual challenges, you will receive personalized recommendations to optimize your workspace for better posture, comfort, and injury prevention as well suggestions for how to use your current office equipment in a more sustainable way for your posture and sense of ease.

  • Posture Coaching: Receive expert guidance on maintaining a comfortable and healthy posture throughout the workday, including tips for sitting, standing, and taking ergonomic breaks to reduce strain on your muscles and joints.

  • Ergonomic Tools: You can try out a selection of ergonomic tools on the spot to see how they can transform your sensorial, physical and psychological experience at work.

  • Injury Prevention Strategies: Learn practical tips and strategies for preventing common workplace injuries, such as back pain, neck strain, and carpal tunnel syndrome, through ergonomic adjustments and healthy work habits. Simple, accessible exercises and tips will allow you to refresh your postural health and energy throughout the day and minimize strain, stress and tension.

  • Holistic Guidance: The right equipment is only part of the story. In addition to addressing the physical workspace adjustments, the consultation prioritizes education and coaching to promote sustainable postural habits and injury prevention strategies.

  • Reference materials: Written materials with clear illustrations and descriptions are included so that you can reference them anytime after the consultation. This includes an illustrated guide to various ergonomic products you can add to your workspace that will help relieve pain, encourage movement and enable you to feel your best while working.

The consultation can occur either at the place of work (throughout the whole of Switzerland) or at the Alt-Wiedikon practice of Alexander Technique with Nadia Banna. Upon purchase, I’ll contact you shortly thereafter to schedule a convenient time for your consultation. Outside of Canton Zurich, an additional fee is charged based on the travel distance. In case of multiple consultations at the same site, a discount is available. For more information, please send a message.
